The Bare Blouse is a delicate, long-sleeved blouse designed to feel like wearing nothing at all. With its featherlight drape and elegant silhouette, this piece is your go-to for breezy summer evenings and a perfect base layer when temperatures drop.
Finished with a refined crocheted picot edge, The Bare Blouse adds just the right touch of femininity and detail to a minimalist look. Whether worn on its own or layered under a vest or a strap-dress, it’s the kind of garment you’ll reach for again and again - simple, breathable, and beautifully understated.
Yarn
Gepard Cashmere Lace (100% cashmere)
Yardage: 350m/25g
The Bare Blouse is knitted based on your own measurements, but an estimated amount of yarn is as follows:
-
S = 70–74 cm waist circumference and 45 cm length: 125 g
-
M = 75–84 cm waist circumference and 50 cm length: 175 g
-
L = 85–95 cm waist circumference and 55 cm length: 250 g
-
XL = 96–107 cm waist circumference and 60 cm length: 275 g
-
XXL = 108–120 cm waist circumference and 60 cm length: 300 g
Since the long-sleeved tee is knitted based on your personal measurements, the required amount of yarn may vary depending on your waist circumference and the length of your upper body.
We always recommend buying one skein too many rather than one too few. Most yarn retailers accept returns of unopened skeins.

Construction of The Bare Blouse
The Bare Blouse is knitted from the top down. The blouse begins at the top of the shoulder seam, from where the upper back is knitted down to just below the arms. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulder seam to knit the upper front.
Below the armhole, the front and back are joined, and the body is knitted in the round from there, finishing with a folded hem. After that, the two sleeves are knitted, and finally, a picot edge is crocheted around the neckline and sleeves.
