Terms and conditions for private customers

Address and mail
Please make sure that the postal and email address you give in your order is correct. 

If the email address you provide is incorrect, you will not receive an order confirmation (or a Track and Trace number for your order, if you have selected trackable shipment).

Order confirmation
Upon order completion you will receive an order confirmation to the email address you have given. If you do not receive this order confirmation, please contact us at support@nakedknit.com


Payment
nakedknit accepts payment with Mobilepay, Shopify Payments, Visa, Maestro, Mastercard and PayPal. 

All given prices on the website are incl. VAT.

Payments to nakedknit are processed through a secure payment server that encrypts all information using an SSL protocol, which means that your data is safe and secure and cannot be read or accessed by third parties.

Delivery and pick up

Digital products
Digital products are delivered immediately after the order confirmation.
Patterns are sent as PDF files to your email address. Please ensure that you provide the correct email address when placing your order.

Physical products
The delivery time for physical products is 1–7 days within Denmark and EU countries.
Orders shipped with PostNord are delivered within 5–15 working days.
Orders shipped with GLS are delivered within 5–15 working days.

We ship orders on Mondays and Thursdays, excluding bank holidays or other closed days.

Orders placed during weekends or on bank holidays are shipped on the next working shipping day (Monday or Thursday).

Please note that holiday periods such as summer holidays and bank holidays may result in longer delivery times.

In-store pickup
You can also choose to pick up your order in-store at Proem Parades flagship location:

Please allow 1–2 working days for your order to be packed. You will receive an email notification once your order is ready for pickup.

Pickup is available during the store’s opening hours.

Shipping information
We deliver to all countries within the EU.
Shipping costs are calculated based on weight.
All orders shipped with GLS and PostNord Tracked will include a tracking number.

Undelivered parcels

Please take care to note your deadline for claiming your parcel, if you have chosen to have your order shipped to a pick-up point. If your parcel is not picked up within the given time limit, it is returned to us for a fee. See section on unclaimed parcels.

Damaged orders
If your order is damaged upon delivery, please contact us at support@nakedknit.com.

Please send photos documenting the damage when contacting us.

Right of cancellation for digital products
When purchasing digital products/patterns, you agree upon checkout that the 14-day cancellation period for the digital product is null and void.

Right of cancellation for physical goods 
When purchasing physical products, the cancellation period is 14 days unless other arrangements have been made or are stated on your order confirmation.

Please contact us at support@nakedknit.com if you want to return your order. We will then provide you with the information on how to return.

Returns that are sent to a pick-up point will not be collected and will not be considered a valid use of the right of cancellation.

The 14 days right of cancellation period begins the day an order is delivered.

The customer bears the cost of return.

Returned products must be unused and in the original, unbroken packaging. 

Notification of return must be given no more than 14 days after delivery and the return parcel must arrive no more than 14 days after the notice of return has been given.

The customer bears the responsibility for the returned products until nakedknit sends confirmation that the parcel has been received. Returned products must be appropriately wrapped and sent with trackable shipping if you want confirmation of delivery.

Your shipping receipt is your documentation that the return parcel has been shipped and given into the care of the shipping company.

If returning the entire order, a full refund is given for both the physical products and the cost of shipping. If a shipping option other than the cheapest standard shipping was selected, only the cost of the cheapest standard shipping option will be refunded.

Returns are refunded to the same payment method that was used when placing the order. 

Unclaimed parcels

Unclaimed parcels and parcels where receipt has been denied, are not considered a valid use of the right of cancellation. For unclaimed parcels and parcels where receipt has been denied, the cost of return is deducted from the amount refunded.

A refund will be issued at the time of the return.

Condition of returned products

The customer bears the responsibility for any reduction in value of returned products, caused by any handling beyond what is necessary to determine the type, use and function of the product. This means that you may only test the product in the same way you would if shopping in a brick-and-mortar store.

If the product has been handled beyond what is described above, it will be considered used and thus of reduced value. This means that only a small percentage or none of the purchase price will be refunded. nakedknit alone evaluates the condition of returned items.  

Right of complaint
According to Danish law there is a 2 year right of complaint period. The right of complaint applies specifically to defects in materials and manufacture of a product.

nakedknit must be informed of complaints regarding materials and manufacture within a reasonable time after receiving the product. 

Here a maximum of 2 months is considered reasonable time unless another arrangement has been made.

If the complaint is legitimate nakedknit will cover the cost of return within reason.

We reserve the right to remedy the defect or replace the defect product, rather than giving a refund. This means that the product will be repaired, or a new one will be sent to replace the defect product, if the complaint is legitimate.

The right of complaint does not cover defects or damages caused by incorrect handling, incorrect wash or care, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear.

Right of complaint returns will not be accepted if they are sent cash on delivery or to a parcel shop or pick-up point.

Reservations
We make reservations for any errors in pricing, printing, typing, for out-of-stock items and for any changes in VAT and tax rules. All special sale offers are only valid while stock lasts.
