Die Siv-Hausschuhe sind warme, gemütliche und bequeme Hausschuhe, inspiriert von den historischen dänischen Schilfrohrschuhen.

Im Gegensatz zu den Schilfrohrschuhen sind die Siv-Hausschuhe jedoch aus dickem, warmem Garn gestrickt. Aber genau wie Schilfrohrschuhe sind auch die Siv-Hausschuhe mit einem dicken Flechtmuster gefertigt, das für guten Halt und eine spürbare Isolierwirkung sowie für die charakteristische Optik sorgt.

Das Fischgrätenmuster ist einfach zu stricken und wenn man erst einmal den Dreh raus hat, sind die Siv-Hausschuhe mit ihren großen Nadeln schnell und einfach zu stricken. Die Hausschuhe sind mit einer eleganten Drehung an der Vorderseite des Futters zusammengenäht.

1 Strang Gepard Cashsock Chunky, 100 g / 183 m

oder

2 Fäden Lang Yarns Alpaca Soxx (4-fädig), 100 g / 390 m

Die Siv-Hausschuhe werden aus Sockengarn mit Kaschmir gestrickt, was für ein weiches und langlebiges Finish sorgt. Das gesamte Modell ist im Fischgrätenmuster gestrickt. Die Maschenprobe, auf einer 7 mm Nadel und im Fischgrätenmuster gestrickt, beträgt: 10 x 10 cm = 20 n x 25 M

HINWEIS: Wenn die Hausschuhe in der oben genannten Spannung gestrickt werden, sollten sie gut sitzen, da sie mit der Zeit (und dem Gebrauch) etwas nachgeben. Deshalb fühlen sich die Hausschuhe vielleicht etwas klein an, wenn sie frisch von der Nadel sind, aber sie dehnen sich aus und passen sich beim Gebrauch der Form Ihres Fußes an.

Stricknadeln und Zubehör

  • Nadelspiel oder Rundstricknadel 7 mm (Länge spielt keine Rolle)
  • Ein Maßband
  • Schere
  • 1 stumpfe Nadel, um lose Enden zu sichern
  • 2 Stichhalterschnüre oder -draht
  • Zwei Nadelspiele – alle mit einer Stärke kleiner als 7 mm – reichen aus
  • Ein Gummiband, das in die Vorderkante des Slipper eingenäht wird, sorgt für perfekten Halt

Frequently asked questions

How does the individual sizing work?

This differs from pattern to pattern, but oftentimes we ask you to measure underneath your bust and across your bust. Then we offer a calculation based on the knitting tension and this in turn tells you e.g. how many stitches you should cast on for your band. 

Other times, it’s measuring the cups to your body and stopping when you feel they give the coverage you prefer. For some of our patterns we have created an Excel sheet where you simply type in your measurements and it provides you with the amount of stitches, cast-ons ect. Going forward we will optimise this and add it to more patterns. 

Can I knit in other types of yarn than cashmere?

Of course you can! 

We recommend cashmere because while researching many different yarn types, cashmere was the yarn that was the softest against the skin for the longest duration of time. Also cashmere on small needles tends to give a more tight knitted, elegant look, that we feel are perfect for our designs.But as long as you match the knitting tension to whatever yarn you are using, you can use whatever yarn you want. 

How much support do your bras give?

The bras give the same support as a soft, wireless bra. However there are no strap adjustments in the patterns yet, so we generally recommend you knit the straps 5-10 cm shorter than you normally would, so they can ease.

I have a bigger bust, will your bras work for me?

Our bras are meant as a soft, wireless alternative to regular bras.  If you need more support for your bust than a soft bra can give you, we suggest you wear a regular bra underneath your nakedknit bra.
