Construction of The Soft Blouse

The Soft Blouse is knitted top down. It begins at the top of the shoulder seam, from which the upper back is worked down to just below the armholes. Stitches are then picked up along the shoulder seam, and the upper front sections are worked while shaping the neckline. At the underarm, the front and back are joined, and the body is worked in the round from this point, finishing with a folded hem at the bottom. The sleeves are then worked, and finally finished with a folded hem as well.
